Irvine Beach Park
Full Walk Description
This walk is on amenity park land and beach. The surfaces are tarmac, grass and sand. There are steeper inclines but with an option to avoid if preferred.
Sessions begin with a warm up walk and stretch followed by an increase in intensity to get pulses raising.
It’s not just about the walking either as the sessions incorporate functional exercises (exercises that mimic daily activities and help to keep you strong and safe during these activities), which can be modified to suit each client at an individual level. Using body weight, poles, bands and steep inclines, these sessions offer variety and a challenging addition to the walks.

Irvine train station is approximately 1km from the start point. There are various bus stops nearby including at the Slipway (0.5km) and Irvine train station.
