Hi, I'm Fiona and I'm a walking and movement coach, here to help you walk Further, Faster and Fitter by gently building your strength from the ground up.

If you used to love walking but something has gotten in the way, like pain, reduced stamina, lack of confidence or the fear of holding others back, you're not alone!

I support 50+ women to rebuild the strength, resilience and confidence they deserve, helping them to enjoy walking again, one step at a time.

I’ve been coaching people to walk stronger and with more confidence for well over a decade, combining practical experience with extensive training in movement, strength and walking mechanics.  My approach goes beyond simply getting you fitter, it’s about building functional strength that supports your walking, protects your joints and keeps you moving well long-term.
Furthermore, I understand.  Walking was a lifeline for me at a time when I couldn’t do anything else, so I know first hand the importance of maintaining the ability and that’s why I created WalkFitter – a progressive pathway that starts with walking and gradually rebuilds the strength that keeps you active and independent.

George and I just wanted to say thanks for all your patience, help and encouragement introducing us to Nordic walking. We really get a lot out of the classes with all your skill introducing exercises to help and make sure we stretch safely.  I no longer get a sore lower back walking uphill thanks to improving my technique and George feels his posture is improving. It’s been a revelation. So good to get outside and get some fresh air too !
