Follow Along Audio Walks
Strollers
My Strollers follow along audio walks are aimed at complete beginners. What I mean by 'beginner' is someone who is new to walking to improve their health. Someone who has perhaps been sedentary for a long time or perhaps recovering from illness or injury. These walks are very gentle, slow paced walks, mainly on flat tarmac surfaces. Inclines are minimal, if any and there is ample seating should you need it. These follow along audio walks allow you to walk in a variety of set locations, in your own time, to suit your own schedule. My role is to gently coach you through developing and maintaining a good safe posture for walking whilst gently encouraging you to improve technique, balance, co-ordination and strength that will eventually help you to progress onto my Striders walks and beyond.
The aim of my Strollers series is to:
- Help you get started
- Introduce you to efficent walking technique
- Improve your balance, co-ordination and strength
- Teach you how to increase and monitor your level of effort safely
- Increase your confidence when walking
