Hi, I'm Fiona and I'm a walking and wellness coach.

I help women over the age of 40 reclaim their walking freedom - free from pain, fatigue or frustration - so they can walk Further, Faster and Fitter.

If you used to love walking but something has gotten in the way, like pain, reduced stamina, lack of confidence or the fear of holding others back, you’re not alone! 

 

I’ve worked with so many people who’ve had to quit walking because it’s become too hard.  Walking was a lifeline for me at a time when I couldn’t do anything else so I know first hand the importance of maintaining the ability and that’s why I created WalkFitter.

George and I just wanted to say thanks for all your patience, help and encouragement introducing us to Nordic walking. We really get a lot out of the classes with all your skill introducing exercises to help and make sure we stretch safely.  I no longer get a sore lower back walking uphill thanks to improving my technique and George feels his posture is improving. It’s been a revelation. So good to get outside and get some fresh air too !
